I'm not that great with words but thought it would be wrong to add a new post without firstly mentioning the earthquake. It feels so strange to be in another country watching the drama unfold on tv. I honestly can't believe it's happened in Christchurch, it looks like a war zone in a third world country, not little ol' picturesque NZ. The pictures and footage are just so heartbreaking. I am thankful that my family are all located in the North Island but only just, with my uncle having moved from Christchurch to Napier last month.
My thoughts & prayers go out to everyone in Christchurch, not just those who have lost someone or are waiting for news of missing loved ones, but the frightened, homeless, injured, traumatised and also the littlies who don't understand what's happened but are scared anyway.
